Topic: Graph Database Technology

Most of us are familiar with relational databases, in fact they are so prolific in most business applications that it is unheard of to not have had some exposure to relational databases. Are these databases always the best fit for our business needs?Do they aid or hamper us in certain cases?18 months ago I was called in to assist on a project that wasn’t meeting the client’s needs.Performance was just too slow!Relational database technology, it turns out wasn’t suited to the solution, but graph database technology was. This is my story of what I discovered, how graph databases helped an ailing project and how the technology differs from relational databases.
